Corrosion Solutions for Fire Protection Systems
13 Oct 2022
Data Centre Innovations Stage
Corrosion damage in fire sprinkler systems can cause pinhole leaks and/or system blockages which can result in business disruption and potentially prevent the sprinkler system from working properly during a fire. Oxygen is a key component in the corrosion process, and by replacing the oxygen with nitrogen (an inert gas) you can reduce the risk of corrosion and greatly extend the life of the fire sprinkler system
Join us in this presentation where we will review the science of corrosion in fire sprinkler systems, and outline how nitrogen gas can be used to create a corrosion-free environment in the fire sprinkler systems. We will also cover how the FM & NFPA codes and standards are highly promoted in the use of nitrogen in fire sprinkler systems.
