The scale-up of AI and edge computing is presenting new challenges related to thermal management, the likes of which the market has never seen before. Immersive liquid cooling is gaining widespread attention and can replace air cooling to provide better efficiency, capacity and sustainability. However, it represents major change and not all data centers can be easily adapted to liquid cooling. Despite various challenges, there are other factors whereby liquid cooling may be particularly attractive in Asia.
