An outdoor electronic perimeter security system is the first line of defense against threat to a data center's critical infrastructure and assets. Safeguarding internal servers and colocation cages adds an additional layer of protection. During this session, participants will be introduced to key elements of successful perimeter and cage protection and today's most effective intrusion detection strategies for data storage and processing sites. The discussion will focus on critical performance criteria, system design considerations and recommended system configurations to achieve optimal detection performance and mitigate risk to facility and data.
