Sticklers™ fiber optic products by MicroCare Corp. is preparing to introduce its latest advancements in cleaning technology to the fiber optic industry. The company will present the new Fiber-To-The Antenna (FTTA) and Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) cleaning kits for the first time during the leading expo in Singapore.

Data Centre World held in Singapore from 10-11 will be used as a platform to introduce the new cleaning kits designed specifically for FFTA and FFTH networks.

The FTTA kit contains enough materials to clean more than 1,500 1.25mm ODC and LC connectors, with the FTTH kit able to clean over 1,800 SC, FC, ST and E2000 connectors. Each kit gives installers one-stop access to a full-line of affordable, high-quality fiber cleaning products engineered to clean multiple connector types and sizes, as well as bare fiber.

The unique kits contain all the necessary equipment to ensure fiber optic connectors and splices are kept spotlessly clean. Importantly they include non-flammable, non-toxic and globally GHS compliant cleaning fluid packaged in a hermetically sealed container. This allows them to be easily shipped anywhere in the world.

By compiling the kits specifically for those in the FFTA and FFTH industries, it saves time and money by ensuring that the installers and service technicians have the right combination of cleaning products available at the job site thus avoiding expensive repair visits.

Also, recently introduced, and featuring at the forthcoming exhibitions, is the CleanClicker™ 400, a miniaturized end-face cleaning tool which works seamlessly to clean LC, MU, ODC, ARINC801, and NECON connectors. Due to its small size, it fits easily into tight spaces for example data centers, central offices or cable head-ends to deliver perfect cleaning.

Sticklers™ Clean Wipes 640 will also be highlighted. The wipes easily remove fingerprints, oil, polishing compounds, dust and lint as well as effectively eliminating static, therefore improving cleaning results. The product also features eight color-coded CleanSwipe™ slots to provide simple and cost-effective terminal cleaning at the workbench and in the field. Importantly multiple cleaning can be undertaken with the assurance of never re-using the same piece of fabric, stopping the risk of cross-contamination.
