Ashton Soh is a key player in driving Digital Realty's strategic expansion across the Asia Pacific region. As the Director of Acquisitions and Investment for Asia Pacific, he plays a crucial role in identifying and securing strategic investment opportunities in Southeast Asia and India, aligning with customer demands and expanding Digital Realty’s platform throughout the region. Prior to his current role, Ashton was instrumental in directing Mapletree Industrial Trust's expansion strategies for data centers and industrial properties across Asia. He successfully grew the company's footprint in both established and emerging data center hubs across the region. Ashton began his career in the data center sector at Singtel, where he led a team and managed the expansion and operations of Singtel’s data center portfolio. In addition to his responsibilities at Digital Realty, Ashton chairs the Data Centre Chapter at SGTech, where he advocates for environmentally friendly practices and the adoption of innovative technologies within the data center industry. His involvement in SGTech complements his work at Digital Realty, enabling him to integrate insights from both roles to address the challenges of fostering a sustainable digital economy and bolster Singapore's reputation as a premier hub for advanced data center operations.
