Yang Rui, PhD in Management, is the Chairman and President of Shoto. He graduated from the University of Toronto, Nanjing University. He is a member of expert committee of China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association. Shoto is committed to the innovation and service of smart energy. It provides various energy solutions such as lithium batteries, lead-acid batteries, hybrid power supply systems, energy storage systems, micro-grid and distributed power plants etc. As members of the Advanced Lead Acid Battery Consortium (ALABC), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA), Shoto participates in the formulation of industrial standards in China. Dr. Yang Rui led the company's strategic transformation and expanded the company's business to communication, IDC, energy storage and electric power markets. Under his leadership, Shoto has achieved strong financial results over the past few years, and is marching towards "internationalization, high technology, ecology and new energy". In addition, the company’s industrial focus has transformed from lead battery to lithium battery plus energy storage system, and its market structure has shifted from mostly domestic to a 50% - 50% split of domestic and overseas sales. Through increasing R & D investment and industry-university-research cooperation, Shoto has successively undertaken and completed various national, provincial and municipal projects and won numerous Chinese prizes. To date, Shoto has the largest market share in Tele-communication and Data center power storage markets.
